PZ’s and SAs
During this Event the concept of “Sensitive Areas” will be used. Sensitive Areas are mostly areas with (riding) stables, horses and cattle outside.
They are not considered and handled as PZs but can be changed to (red / yellow) PZs in case of complaints.
Parking at the Steigerwaldhalle
Wir haben genügend Platz um die Steigerwaldhalle für alle Ballongespanne.
Bitte startet HINTEN auf der großen Fläche mit dem Parken. Die Wohnmobile könnt ihr ruhig zuparken, die fahren erst wieder am Sonntag weg. Sobald hinten alles voll ist kann man dort trotzdem noch wenden, und dann den Seitenstreifen nach vorne benutzen. Und zuletzt werden dann die 10 Plätze vorne benutzt.
Zum einfahren auf die Bundesstraße 22 haben wir nach den Briefings auch 2-3 Personen, die den Verkehr kurz anhalten dürfen, damit ihr wegfahren könnt. Es muss also keiner panisch losstürmen.
We have enough space around the Steigerwaldhalle for all balloon teams.
Please start parking in the large area at the back. You can park in front of the camper vans; they won't be leaving until Sunday. Once the back is full, you can still turn around there and then use the shoulder to get to the front. Finally, the 10 spaces at the front will be used.
After the briefing, we also have 2-3 people who can briefly hold up traffic to allow you to drive off. So there's no need to rush off in a panic.

Verlängerung der Anmeldefrist - Extention of registration deadline
Liebe Pilotinnen und Piloten,
aus gegebenem Anlass hat das Organisationsteam entschieden, dass die Anmeldefrist bis zum 01. Juli verlängert wird.
Wir haben aktuell 30 angemeldete Teams und können bis zum 01. Juli noch 10 weitere Ballonteams annehmen. Daher wollen wir auch den Kurzentschlossenen die Möglichkeit geben, unsere Meisterschaft als Trainingslager für die Europameisterschaft zu nutzen.
Nürnberg liegt strategisch hervorragend auf dem Weg nach Wieselburg, und durch den Flughafen könnte man sogar nochmal für einige Tage nach Hause fliegen und den Ballon bei uns stehen lassen.
Also meldet euch noch an, wir freuen uns auf euch.

Dear pilots,
Due to current circumstances, the organizing team has decided to extend the registration deadline until July 1st.
We currently have 30 registered teams and can accept 10 more balloon teams until July 1st. Therefore, we want to give those who decide at short notice the opportunity to use our championship as a training camp for the European Championship.
Nuremberg is strategically located on the way to Wieselburg, and thanks to the airport, you could even fly home for a few days and leave your balloon with us.
So please register now; we look forward to seeing you.

Dear all,
here is the official invitation/announcement for our German-British Hot Air Balloon Championship.
The registration page is also open from today, but please note the regulations in the announcement regarding the number of participants and the available places.
The 25 places for German pilots are reserved for places 1-25 in the German ranking list as of December 31, 2024.
