The Puglia Balloon Cup 2026 is an international hot air balloon competition taking place in Gravina in Puglia, in the heart of Southern Italy, from August 24 to 29, 2026.

Organized by the Landing on South Italy Consortium, the event is positioned as a major aerostatic sporting competition at national level, officially authorized by the Aero Club d’Italia as an Open competition. This allows the participation of international pilots and offers the opportunity to obtain points valid for international ranking systems.

The competition is centered on technical flying tasks, carried out in a highly suitable operational environment characterized by the landscapes of Gravina in Puglia and the Alta Murgia plateau. Pilots will compete in a structured sporting context, supported by an experienced international team, daily briefings, advanced digital tracking systems, and dedicated operational services.

The Puglia Balloon Cup aims to establish itself as a reference event within the aerostatic sports calendar, contributing to the recognition of Southern Italy as an emerging destination for international ballooning competitions.
