Balloon Club Zagreb and the City of Prelog are excited to invite you to come and compete at the Croatia Hot Air Balloon Open Championship 2026. Competitors are again in for a treat with unbeatable terms provided by the City of Prelog, fantastic scenery, and heartwarming hospitality, along with a sizable prize pot and a world-class competition organisation under our director, Christoph Fraisl and his team.

Rules and Regulations: | AX Model Event Rules in English. BalloonLiveSensor and BalloonLiveApp will be used during the competition. |
Registration: | The event is open to all international pilots with FAI sports licences with a minimum of 50 hours. Maximum 35 participants. Registration only via the Watchmefly! You will receive payment information after registration. |

Gas information
- Refuelling before the first task flight is possible during check-in hours. Last refuelling Saturday PM before the last competition flight.
- Pilots participating in the key grab will have refuelling available on Sunday after the morning flight.
- Pilots participating in the night glow will have refuelling available on Sunday after the evening glow.
- Outside of the competition schedule, before or after the event, pilots can refuel LPG at a local gas station at their own cost.
IMPORTANT information!
- On Sunday all pilots are asked to participate in the night glow.
For pilots participating in the glow accommodation until Monday 4.9., as well as refuelling after the glow, will be available! Dinner is served after the glow on the CLA.
Accommodation
- Pilots will be hosted in Hotel Panorama**** (Competition Centre location), Hotel Kralj***, Hostel Green ** and Hotel Golf**. You can choose your preference. First come first served.

FIESTA
Fiesta will be open to 15 pilots. Saturday and/or Sunday glow is mandatory. Gas, accommodation until Monday and dinner on the launch site are provided for Sunday Glow participants.
