The 1st round of Rio Grande do Sul state championship (Campeonato Gaúcho de Balonismo) occurs during the 35º Festival Internacional de Balonismo de Torres,  an historical and huge Hot Air Balloon Festival in the extreme south of Brazil, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, near the Atlantic Ocean. The 2nd round is also in Torres, in the begin of Dezember.
